Professional hardwood floor cleaning is a specialized service that uses low-moisture steaming, high-powered equipment to deep clean and sanitize sealed wood floors. Unlike DIY mopping, professionals extract deeply embedded dirt and grime without the risk of water damage.
Our 7 Step Process of Hardwood Floor Cleaning
Our hardwood floor cleaning process involves several key stages:
Inspection: Technicians first inspect the floor's condition and identify the floor type (solid or engineered wood, etc.) to determine the appropriate cleaning method and check for any pre-existing damage.
Debris Removal: The area is vacuumed or swept to remove all loose dirt, dust, and large debris, preventing the particles from scratching the floor during the deep cleaning phase.
Steam Cleaning / Spot Treatment: Start steam cleaning the floors which will effectively remove dirt and tough grime from the crevices of the wood, this process will also remove stains on high-traffic areas
Deep Cleaning: Specialized equipment is used to agitate the floor's surface with a minimal-moisture cleaning solution.
Hand Cleaning: Edges and hard-to-reach corners are meticulously cleaned by hand using a microfiber cloth and the hardwood cleaning solution.
Protective Finish Application (Optional): A professional-grade wood floor polish or protective top coat may be applied to restore shine and add a layer of protection against future wear and tear.
Final Inspection: A final walkthrough is performed with the client to ensure satisfaction and provide instructions for proper care.
