Tile and grout cleaning is a process that goes beyond simple mopping to extract deeply embedded dirt, grime, and contaminants from the porous surfaces of tiles and grout lines.
Our 6 Step Process of Hardwood Floor Cleaning
Our Tile & Grout cleaning process involves several key stages:
- Inspection and Assessment: Technicians inspect the tiled area to determine the tile type, the condition of the grout, and identify any areas with heavy staining, damage, mold, or mildew that require special attention.
- Preparation: The floor is thoroughly swept or vacuumed to remove loose dirt, dust, and debris, preventing it from turning into mud once cleaning solutions are applied.
- Pre-treatment: A specialized, often pH-balanced, cleaning solution is applied to the tile and grout lines. This solution is designed to break down tough stains, oils, soap scum, and bacteria and is allowed to sit for a period to penetrate the pores.
- Agitation/Scrubbing: The applied solution is agitated using specialized brushes (either by hand for tough spots or with mechanical equipment) to loosen the embedded dirt and grime from the grout's porous surface and the tile itself.
- High-Pressure Extraction: Using high-powered steaming equipment, the floor is rinsed with heated steam under high, controlled pressure. This will loosen contaminants, leaving the surfaces clean and nearly dry.
- Post-Cleaning Inspection: The technicians perform a final inspection of the work with the client to ensure satisfaction.
